As we start preparing for cooler days and darker evenings, I like to freshen up my wardrobe with some new pieces! So here is a post with some items you would have seen on my Instagram and also some you may not have! Also just to be transparent, some are affiliate items, I will put ‘AFF’ next to these to be clear, I only recommend what I love!
Autumn is a funny season, some days you find yourself wearing a coat and jumper in the morning, but then stripping off to the bare minimum by the afternoon. This is why I like to layer an outfit! Not only is it practical with the changing weather, but it can switch up an outfit completely! Find yourself wearing the same items all the time? Try thinking of ways you can layer them up to create a different look. Maybe swap out the belt or add a scarf? You can utilise what you already have in your wardrobe with some minor changes.
The boots are back! I have worn this skirt throughout the Summer with a pair of sandals, and will now continue to wear it through the Autumn with a pair of boots, and possibly some tights on those extra cold days! I have teamed it with a black body suit to create a stream line look – I would throw on a light denim jacket for when it got chilly. This comes with a waist tie but could easily be swapped out with a black leather belt and teamed with a black leather jacket for a totally different look. The skirt and bodysuit are from Pimark, which I can’t link as they aren’t online! – Come on Primark! I picked the boots up last year from Marks and Spencer’s in the sale but will pop a link below for some similar.
I managed to find some boots on ASOS that are from New Look and they are in the sale! These boots are an Autumn/ Winter essential to me. Click the link to see! – New Look faux suede pointed heeled boots in black. /AFF
Here are some similar skirts I managed to find!
The first one is from NastyGal and it’s reduced to £15 right now! – Cat Live Without You Leopard Midi Skirt /AFF
This one from Dorothy Perkins is the closest match with the waist tie – Black Mono Animal Print Pleated Midi Skirt /AFF
I will link my Pandora necklace here for you all too – Round Sparkle Halo Necklace
This jumpsuit if from H&M, as a taller girl, I find it so difficult to find jumpsuits that fit, so I love the fact this has adjustable straps on the back. I love the neutral tone too, this waist tie came with the jumpsuit but I would also swap it out with a brown or black belt for a different look.
Here is the link for you all – Calf-length jumpsuit. /AFF
Another jumpsuit for you all! This one had adjustable straps too – Win! The straps on this one tie up at the top which creates a really girlie look I think. I also love this colour! It’s like a muted yellow which I think is fantastic for Autumn. I put a white cropped top from H&M underneath and this can be paired with sandals or a pair of white converse depending on the weather. It’s a nice baggy fit and made from a muslin type material, so it’s super comfy and so easy to ‘mum’ in! Perfect.
Here is the link for the jumpsuit – Oh What a Tie Wide-Leg Dungarees.
This green Dalmatian spot dress is just devine! I love a pretty dress that can work for all seasons and occasions! Boots and tights for a cold day or team it with a pair of black heels for a classier evening look. I would reccomend sizing up on this one as the material isn’t very giving!
Here is the link – Green Dalmatian spot dress /AFF
Another all rounder dress! This could also be teamed with some sandals in the warmer months. I have a pink leather jacket that would look great with this! Leather jackets are an Autumn/ Winter must for me!!

Here I have teamed it with my pink leather jacket and black Paul Costelloe backpack.
Here is a link to a similar jacket that I found – Leather jacket
You can find more Paul Costelloe bags over here – Backpack
Cosy clothes are a must! That is why I invested in this super cosy balloon sleeve cardigan. Team it with some black skinny jeans and a black bodsuit and you are instant glam with zero effort! This is one of those layered looks, I could easily take of the cardigan if the afternoon turned warmer.
You guessed it! Here is the link – Grey balloon sleeve cardigan/AFF
The skort above is from Zara. I have four of these now and I definitely want more! They are great all year round – a great bang for the buck as they say! Teamed with bare legs and sandals or tights and boots and voila! I would even wear them with a pair of heels on a rare occasion I went out. They don’t do this particular style anymore but I will link a similar style for you here – Polka-dot skort
Here is another Zara skort for you! Just to prove how much I love them! Isn’t red such an Autumn colour?! This one is currently in the sale so move fast! – Red floral skort
The body suit is the comfiest I have owned too so will link this for you all – Red bodysuit I plan on picking up some more!
I just love this look for Autumn! Another outfit that I would team up with a leather jacket or possibly my faux fur one!
Boots and tights of course!! I absolutely adore a pair of black knee high boots and will wear them to death in the Autumn!! I found this gorgeous pink pair in the sale over at Dorothy Perkins though, and fell in love! I would link them for you but they’ve completely sold out! (Booo!!) But here I stand in my pink boots reminding you to push your limits sometimes and have fun with what you wear! I can’t believe I own pink boots!! I am in love! So try that dress that you don’t think will suit you, and wear the shoes you have stuffed at the back of your wardrobe for another day! Life is too short!
So to summarise, my autumn wardrobe will consist of staple dresses and skirts that I can team with some tights and boots, along with some cosy clothes for comfort. My love for jeans will be coming back, especially the black and skinny kind! I will one hundred percent be sporting a leather jacket and pulling out the big cosy scarves and ear muffs. Goodbye to the bright colours! Autumn has arrived!
